I have the honour to report that permission has been given to Mr. S. Leigh, Wardmaster at the Government Civil Hospital, of the Army Reserve, to rejoin the Colours. He sailed for England on the 2nd. May with a batch of Royal Garrison Artillery

men.

Mr. Leigh proposes to take up his appointment again at the end of the war, and he should accordingly continue to pay his subscriptions, at the rate of £5. 12. 0 per annum, to the Widows and Orphans' Pension Fund. I shall be glad if enquiry may be made through the War Office as to whether Mr. Leigh is in a

position to make arrangement for this.
